Tom Hazell, PhD, completed his undergraduate studies at McMaster University and his graduate work at the Universities of Windsor and Western Ontario. Following graduate school, Tom was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at McGill University in the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition and an Assistant Professor at the University of Lethbridge (Alberta). He recently accepted a position at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.
Similar to his mentor, Dr. Lemon, Tom supervises graduate students, teaches exercise physiology and nutrition, and conducts research on the effects of exercise on energy balance with a goal to better understand how exercise can be used to reduce body fat effectively.
