My life revolves around fitness and nutrition and now my wellness company, WOW! I started out running track and cross-country at a very early age, this lead me into my interest of fitness and nutrition. I attended George Brown College in Toronto and obtained a diploma in Fitness and Lifestyle management. After learning all about the fitness and personal training side, I decided to go back to school for nutrition. I am currently obtaining my B.Sc. in Nutrition and Psychology at The University of Western Ontario.
My personal philosophy on fitness is that you have to commit to making a lifestyle change. This includes working out several times a week and eating healthy, well balanced meals throughout the week. I can help you get in the best shape of your life but we have to work together. 🙂
As my friends and family will agree…I am all about creating a supportive fitness environment! Why workout by yourself in a gym when you can be outside most of the year enjoying the weather and motivate each other? I have been instructing classes for almost ten years and love the group setting as it allows you to work at your own pace, is progressive, and all around amazing!
For fun I love spending time with family and friends…any activity outdoors, in the sun, in the rain…inside if I have to! haha I have run 4 marathons and plan on participating in many more! I also love to cook!! (I’m very enthusiastic about working in my kitchen and healthy cooking). I believe that life is what you make it and I choose to live it to the fullest!!
