Jeff Wason, MSc. has been the Western strength and conditioning coach since 2007.
Prior to that, Jeff was the director of strength and conditioning operations and the head strength coach at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Villanova boasts 24 varsity teams.
He was instrumental in the strength and conditioning of the 2006 Villanova men’s basketball team, which compiled a 28-5 overall record and an Elite Eight NCAA Tournament performance.
From 1988-1992, he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Michigan participating in five Big Ten Football Championships, Rose Bowl and Gator Bowl Appearances. Jeff also trained three out of five NCAA basketball Final Four teams including the 1989 national champions.
Jeff has a Masters Degree in Science (Exercise Physiology) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) and K-12 Teaching Certificate, also from the University of Michigan.
