Simon Donato PhD, is a Calgary based ultra-endurance athlete and the founder of Stoked Oats (www.stokedoats.com), Adventure Science (www.adventurescience.ca), and host and creator of the new adventure television series Boundless on the Travel and Escape channel. A petroleum geologist for nearly 5 years in Calgary, Simon left the oil patch to pursue his passion for sports, science, and adventure. He hasn’t starved to death yet and therefore considers his career change a success so far.
