Tom Hazell, Ph.D Candidate, MHK
Originally from Dundas, Ontario, Tom is currently completing his doctorate in Integrative Exercise Physiology specializing in Exercise Nutrition under Dr. Peter Lemon at The University of Western Ontario. After an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University and a Master’s at the University of Windsor, he is currently researching the acute metabolic affects of various exercise training modalities. Tom’s current focus is on the potential benefits of whole-body vibration and sprint interval training. Formerly a junior level hockey player, personal trainer, and spinning instructor, Tom is well accustomed to interacting with individuals from all sorts of athletic and academic backgrounds. Tom has a large amount of experience teaching a wide range of individuals from elementary school to university students.
